I am a Scottish Canadian product and business specialist currently based out of Revelstoke, British Columbia, with a footprint across Canada and the alpine regions of Europe.
You’ll find me at the confluence of technology, strategic growth, and human experience. I enjoy working out how complex systems work, then making them work better for the people using them. Translating “Engineer” into English (ou français) along the way. I’m a 0-1 “Intrapreneur” with a product, business, community and engineering foundation.

I built a fully automated, AI powered data scraping platform. Marketing data is cleaned and populated into client’s HubSpot CRM and Marketing suite. Predominantly used for the UK IT and Telecom markets.

What I’ve done.
Before moving into product and business roles, I began my career as an engineer. As a Royal Air Force Veteran, I spent my service as rotary aircrew and gained an engineering degree from RAF Officer and Aircrew College Cranwell. Although I speak multiple dialects of engineering fluently, I feel happiest when helping companies bridge the gap between complicated systems or products and their users. My passion lies in translating that technical complexity into profitable products and business value.
Who I am.
When not at the business factory, I’m usually outside. My home base is a fully off-grid houseboat, “Ogopogo”, anchored near the outdoor mecca of Revelstoke, BC. I live there with my cats, Princess Mini and Mr Tofu. I am a Level 1 & 2 qualified NZSIA Ski Instructor, an avid backcountry skier, boulderer, and mountain biker. I have a deep passion for nature and green agriculture, having recently lived on a sustainably run, award winning, 150 hectare farm on the West Coast of Scotland, and previously volunteered with the Nature Conservancy Of Canada, surveying and mapping some of their most rare and important habitats. I also collect, catalogue, and grow rare fruit and vegetable seeds from around the world. Whether I’m navigating the backcountry or fine tuning my off-grid solar setup, I thrive on continuous learning and being immersed in nature. I also really like maps. And otters.
